Job summary

Nerospec Group in South Africa is seeking skilled Auto Electricians to join our mining technology team. You will install, configure and maintain collision prevention systems on surface and underground mining machines, and ensure all work complies with mine safety and OEM standards.

The ideal candidate holds an N4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, a valid Trade Certificate, and at least 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience as an Auto Electrician in mining, with hands-on

Qualifications

• Must have an N4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Trade Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years’ after apprenticeship experience as an Auto Electrician in the mining industry is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with underground and/or surface mining machinery.
• Experience with collision prevention and collision detection systems will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Nerospec’s collision prevention system on surface and underground mining machines.
• Ensure all work complies with mine safety and OEM standards.
