Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits across various departments and business units.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and assess risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with audit plans.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Prepare and present audit reports to management and the audit committee.

• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CA(SA), or equivalent is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO).
• Proficiency in audit software and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Knowledge of relevant South African financial regulations and compliance requirements.
