Job summary

PwC Careers Africa in the Eastern Cape seeks a Manager to lead audit assignments, manage client relationships, and develop the audit team. You will ensure quality, adherence to PwC methodology, and timely delivery of reports.

The role requires CA(SA), 2–4 years post-articles, strong IFRS knowledge, leadership, and business development. Eastern Cape experience is a plus; travel up to 20% is expected.

Role Summary

Perform a senior role on audit assignments on a permanent basis. Assist in managing a portfolio of smaller clients, maintain sound client relationships and assist in managing the audit team.

Responsibilities of role

• Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above;
• Be involved in the financial management of clients;
• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients;
• Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen;
• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges;
• Assist in the management and delivering of large projects;
• Train, coach, and supervise staff;
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues;
• Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand;
• Manage portfolio of clients in respect to attest work;
