Job summary

Together Staffing group in Durban, South Africa, is seeking an experienced CA(SA) auditor to lead client engagements and ensure compliance with IFRS, IAS, ISA and the Companies Act. You will manage relationships and oversee the audit lifecycle from planning to reporting.

The role requires 2–3 years post-article experience, CaseWare knowledge, and a proactive, can-do attitude with travel willingness across the country.

Qualifications

Job description

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that audits run effectively and efficiently while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with professional standards, including IFRS, IAS, ISA, and the Companies Act. You will be responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing the entire audit engagement lifecycle.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant registered with SAICA.
• A minimum of at least 2–3 years of post-article experience.
• CaseWare knowledge is considered advantageous.
• Must be technologically savvy.
• Ability to apply audit and accounting standards through practical application.
• Solid listening skills and the ability to identify gaps in logic.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team and ensure successful results.
• Ability to identify sensitive issues and facilitate proactive communication to avoid surprises.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically.
• Possession of technical expertise across accounting, auditing, and tax.
