Job summary

Paarl, Western Cape, AU PAIR - 4 MORNINGS PER WEEK. Duties include planning engaging activities for a 2-year-old boy, meal preparation, and possible afternoon availability by arrangement.

Start date January 2027 or ASAP if possible; permanent position. Salary is R7,000 per month. Must be female, Afrikaans speaking, living near Paarl, with 12+ months child care experience and valid SA ID.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work for friends and family. Within last 2 years.
• Own reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• At least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Clear criminal record.
• Passion for children.
• Matric.
• South African ID document.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate play and activities for a 2-year-old boy.
• Prepare meals for the children.
• Occasional babysitting and weekend support by prior arrangement.
• Take a proactive approach to planning and organizing activities independently.
• No driving required.

Prepare meals for the children and provide occasional babysitting and weekend support by prior arrangement. Take a proactive approach to planning and organising activities independently, without relying on the family to provide ideas or direction. No driving required.
Special Requirements: Female, Afrikaans speaking, preferably 25 and older and must be living close to Paarl
Start date: January 2027 / ASAP if possible - to allow him to familiarize himself - Permanent
Salary: R7000 per month (no driving required)
