Job summary

Fidelity Services Group in South Africa seeks an ATM Custodian to safely manage cash in ATMs and at the cash centre. You will be responsible for replenishing cash and supplies, monitoring cash levels, and ensuring high ATM availability.

The role requires a clear criminal record, PSIRA Grade B, firearm training, SAPS and CIT certificates, and experience in security. Driving licence and computer literacy are essential, with willingness to travel and work overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a clear criminal record.
• PSIRA accreditation at least Grade B is required.
• Completed handgun and rifle firearm training.
• SAPS competency certificate is required.
• CIT certificate is required.
• Experience in security industry or similar role.
• Driver’s license is required.
• Computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Load ATMs and balance cash on a daily basis.
• Secure and account for all cash transactions daily.
• Attend to technical faults on ATMs.
• Maintain cash balances and accurate handling of cash.
• Ensure client assets are secured at all times.
• Follow all key procedures at all times.
• Record and resolve tracking complaints.
• Assist clients and provide support as needed.

Job description

Purpose of the role -

To be responsible for the safe custodianship of cash to and from the ATM also from the respective cash centre, as well as the safe custodianship of deposits and retained cards made back to the cash centre. The ATM custodian is entirely responsible for the cash he manages and will take sole responsibility for the CASH. To replenish cash and stationary in the ATM, thereby contributing to high ATM availability.

Minimum Requirements

• Clear criminal record
• PSIRA accredited at least with Grade B
• Completed firearm training in handgun and rifle
• SAPS competency certificate
• CIT certificate
• Experience in security industry or similar role
• Driver’s license
• Computer literate

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive)

• Loading off all ATMS on a daily basis
• Securing and accounting for all cash transactions on a daily basis
• Attend to all technical faults on the ATM
• Balancing and accurate cash transaction handling
• Ensure all client assets are secured at all times

• Complaint in trans track scanning operations
• Client interactions and assistance
