Job summary

Fidelity Services Group is seeking an ATM custodian responsible for safe custody of cash to and from ATMs and cash centres, along with deposits and retained cards. The role includes replenishing cash and stationery to maintain high ATM availability and secure handling of cash daily.

The candidate should have PSIRA Grade B, firearm training, SAPS competency, CIT and CIT-like certifications, along with a reliable driver''s license and computer literacy to support secure operations and client

Qualifications

• PSIRA Grade B is required.
• Completion of handgun and rifle firearms training.
• Experience in cash handling and ATM environments is preferred.
• Valid driver''s license and basic computer literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Load ATMs daily and secure cash transactions.
• Balance and account for cash, ensure accuracy.
• Attend to ATM faults and ensure high availability.
• Maintain security of client assets and follow key procedures.
• Interact with clients and provide assistance as needed.

Job description

Purpose of the role -

To be responsible for the safe custodianship of cash to and from the ATM also from the respective cash centre, as well as the safe custodianship of deposits and retained cards made back to the cash centre. The ATM custodian is entirely responsible for the cash he manages and will take sole responsibility for the CASH. To replenish cash and stationary in the ATM, thereby contributing to high ATM availability.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record
• PSIRA accredited at least with Grade B
• Completed firearm training in handgun and rifle
• SAPS competency certificate
• CIT certificate
• Experience in security industry or similar role
• Driver's license
• Computer literate

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

• Loading off all ATMS on a daily basis
• Securing and accounting for all cash transactions on a daily basis
• Attend to all technical faults on the ATM
• Balancing and accurate cash transaction handling
• Ensure all client assets are secured at all times
• Ensure all key procedures are followed at all times
• Complaint in trans track scanning operations
• Client interactions and assistance
