Job summary

Fidelity Services Group is seeking an ATM Custodian to manage and safeguard cash for ATMs and cash centres. You will be responsible for replenishing cash and stationery to maintain high ATM availability and will handle daily cash security and client interactions.

Ideal candidates have PSIRA Grade B, firearms certification, SAPS cert, CIT, and a valid driver's license, with experience in security and strong computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Clear criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Load cash from ATMs and cash centres daily.
• Secure and account for all cash transactions daily.
• Attend to all ATM technical faults.
• Balance and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Ensure client assets are secured at all times.
• Follow all key procedures at all times.
• Track and log cash movements and incidents.
• Interact with clients and provide assistance as needed.

Job description

Purpose of the role -

To be responsible for the safe custodianship of cash to and from the ATM also from the respective cash centre, as well as the safe custodianship of deposits and retained cards made back to the cash centre. The ATM custodian is entirely responsible for the cash he manages and will take sole responsibility for the CASH. To replenish cash and stationary in the ATM, thereby contributing to high ATM availability.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record
• PSIRA accredited at least with Grade B
• Completed firearm training in handgun and rifle
• SAPS competency certificate
• CIT certificate
• Experience in security industry or similar role
• Driver's license
• Computer literate

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

• Loading off all ATMS on a daily basis
• Securing and accounting for all cash transactions on a daily basis
• Attend to all technical faults on the ATM
• Balancing and accurate cash transaction handling
• Ensure all client assets are secured at all times
• Ensure all key procedures are followed at all times
• Complaint in trans track scanning operations
• Client interactions and assistance
