Job summary

Hire Resolve is seeking an Associate Data & ML Engineer to join a green energy supplier in Cape Town. The role focuses on building data pipelines, SSOT, and preparing data for AI/ML initiatives under guidance from senior engineers.

You'll work with Python and SQL, integrate APIs, ETL/ELT, and contribute to governance, tagging in AVEVA PI, CAMs, and PI Vision. Strong collaboration and ownership are expected as you translate requirements into production-grade components.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in data engineering or data platform development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering and ML enablement.

Responsibilities

• Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines across API, SQL, and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop SSOT and consolidate data from CAMs, ERP, OT, IoT, SharePoint.
• Develop ML algorithms for anomaly detection and predictive analytics; validate features.
