Job summary
Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd is recruiting for an Assistant Supervisor Environmental Engineering: Occupational Hygiene at South Deep Gold Mine. Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Air Quality Analyst Certificate.
- Experience in Mine Environmental Control and environmental monitoring in mining.
- 3–5 years in air quality monitoring or occupational hygiene in mining/industrial environments.
- Knowledge of air quality legislation and reporting.
- Experience with ISO 14001 management systems.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct surface and underground Environmental Engineering and occupational hygiene inspections.
- Prepare reports on inspections with observations and corrective actions.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly occupational hygiene targets.
- Compile and present Environmental Monitoring Program data.
- Support committees and investigations related to occupational hygiene.
