Job summary

Glencore International AG in Steelpoort, Limpopo, seeks an Assistant (Operator) Loading for Lion Smelter. Reporting to the Shift Coordinator, you will help monitor and control loading processes while ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires shift work, good housekeeping, and adherence to safety standards in a heavy industry environment. Previous smelter exposure is advantageous; basic computer literacy is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in the smelter or related heavy industry is advantageous.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of the HSEC system is preferred.
