Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered with SANC as Professional Nurse in General Nursing.
• Post-basic Child Nursing qualification (1 year) accredited with SANC.
• Nursing administration qualification registered with SANC.
• Minimum 10 years nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC.
• At least 3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing legislation and related legal and ethical practices to improve and maintain service delivery.
• Supervise the nursing unit to ensure clinical nursing practice and standards.
• Coordinate care using basic HR and financial policies.
• Conduct hospital departmental calls and effective report writing when required.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team at supervisory level to ensure quality nursing care.
