Job summary

The Links invites applications for an experienced Assistant to the Golf Course Superintendent to join our prestigious course in the Western Cape. You will help maintain high standards of course conditioning, assist with planning and budgeting, manage equipment and stock, and lead a team to ensure member satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in leadership roles, Turfgrass and Pest Control qualifications, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate with course staff

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership/management role with budgeting and strategic planning.
• Experience in people development and labor legislation.
• Knowledge of turfgrass maintenance and course conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Co-responsible for quality of course maintenance and conditioning.
• Assist planning and budgeting for maintenance needs.
• Manage equipment, supplies and stockholding.
• Oversee people management and member satisfaction.
