Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualified with relevant post-articles experience.
• 2+ years' post-articles commercial experience.
• Strong IFRS, financial reporting, tax and VAT knowledge with SARS liaison.
• Experience with annual financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Advanced Excel; Accpac or CaseWare exposure advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management under pressure.

You'll be involved across financial reporting, IFRS, tax, VAT, budgeting and forecasting, while also taking responsibility for a team and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial reviews, analysis and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
• Prepare and review tax and VAT submissions, reconciliations and calculations, including engagement with SARS.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare and review annual financial statements and provide technical input on IFRS, tax and Companies Act matters.
• Support internal and external audits, group reporting and key finance projects.
• Lead, manage and develop the finance team while ensuring reporting deadlines are consistently met.

Minimum Requirements

• CA(SA) essential.
• 2+ years' post-articles commercial experience.
• Strong IFRS, financial reporting, tax and VAT knowledge, including SARS liaison.
• Experience with annual financial statement preparation and review, budgets and forecasts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to Accpac or CaseWare advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
