Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a CA(SA) to lead financial reviews, IFRS reporting and tax/VAT submissions, while guiding a team of controllers and accountants. You will engage with senior stakeholders and be exposed to group reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) essential.

Job description

This is a role for a CA(SA) who enjoys financial reviews, technical accounting and working across tax, VAT, reporting and planning. You'll be part of a high-performing finance team, managing a team of financial controllers and accountants while getting exposure to senior stakeholders and group reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial reviews and analysis
• Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial information
• Prepare and review tax and VAT submissions and liaise with SARS
• Drive budgets, forecasts and financial planning
• Prepare and review annual financial statements
• Provide technical input on IFRS, tax and Companies Act matters
• Review VAT reconciliations and tax calculations
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Manage and develop the finance team
• Support group reporting and key finance projects
• Deliver accurate reporting within tight deadlines

Job Experience and Skills

• CA(SA) essential
• 2+ years' post-articles commercial experience
• Accpac or CaseWare experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong financial review and analytical skills
• Solid IFRS knowledge
• Strong tax and VAT experience, including SARS liaison
• Experience with budgets and forecasts
• Annual financial statement preparation and review experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing tight deadlines
