Momentum's Curate division seeks a Fund Specialist to accelerate asset growth across local and global fund ranges, including rand-denominated and hard currency solutions. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships with advisers, DFMs and institutional clients, and converting opportunities into measurable fund inflows.

You will develop regional strategies, manage a strong sales pipeline, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to strengthen brand presence and client advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investments, Economics, Business Science or related field.
• CFA qualification or progress towards CFA or equivalent investment qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in collective investments, asset management or unit trusts.
• Knowledge of local and global unit trust funds including rand and hard currency solutions.
• Proven sales, client relationship management or adviser engagement track record.
• Exceptional engagement, communication and negotiation capability.

Responsabilités

• Grow assets under management across regional and channel strategies.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities through adviser networks.
• Manage redemption risk via adviser engagement and client education.
• Support distribution to drive sales into Curate funds.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and regular progress reporting.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investments, Economics, Business Science or related field

CFA qualification progress towards CFA or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant asset management experience

Understanding of local/global unit trust funds

Sales, client relationship management or adviser engagement

Excellent engagement, communication and negotiation capabilities
