Pragma Global is looking for an Asset Care Planner to oversee and optimise the maintenance work management process using the CMMS. The role coordinates weekly scheduling, liaises with key stakeholders and drives improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, CMMS experience (SAP/Maximo), and solid MS Office skills. A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.

• Take full ownership of the maintenance planning function and drive the preventive and statutory maintenance program with stakeholders.
• Coordinate weekly maintenance scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders including clients and contractors.
• Administer the CMMS and ensure adherence to maintenance processes and data governance.
• Forecast and budget for preventive/statutory maintenance; compile monthly data analyses.
• Develop and refine asset maintenance strategies and supportive documentation.

The Asset Care Planner is responsible for administering and optimising the maintenance work management process within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The role coordinates and leads the weekly maintenance scheduling process, ensuring effective communication and alignment with key stakeholders and the timely release of scheduled work orders. The Asset Care Planner drives focused improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and defect elimination, to enhance asset reliability and operational performance. The position supports the development of asset maintenance strategies and programs, monitors equipment performance and reliability, ensures technical documentation is maintained in line with company standards, supports master data governance, and facilitates spares requisitions to enable efficient and reliable maintenance execution.

Minimum Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the function and actively drive the Preventive & Statutory Maintenance program with the relevant stakeholders; Take Initiative, Take Responsibility.

• Administer the maintenance work management process in the computerised maintenance management system.
• Adherence to the work process at all times.
• Identify and participate in Focused- and Continuous- Improvement Initiatives.
• Coordinate and lead the weekly maintenance scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
• Identify and address challenges early on. Escalate timeously.
• Communicate the agreed maintenance schedule to all key stakeholders and release the scheduled maintenance work orders.
• Participate and co-ordinate Asset maintenance strategy/tactics development.
• Perform forecasting and budgeting for Preventive/Statutory maintenance.
• Compile monthly reports including data analysis.
• Administration of file attachments and documents as per standard.
• Support the master data change process.
