Job summary

Perfect Placement Recruitment is seeking an Armed Response Officer for Woodmead, Johannesburg. You will respond to alarm activations, patrol assigned areas, and protect clients and property, while maintaining detailed incident reports.

The role requires over 3 years security experience, fluent English, a matric, own transport, and being under 50. A SAPS competency certificate and other documents are required; a basic salary applies with a telephone allowance.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of security experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Matric certificate preferred (not essential).
• Must have own reliable transport.
• Must be under 50 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarm activations, panic signals, and emergency call-outs.
• Conduct patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity.
• Protect clients, personnel, and property from theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
• Perform regular inspections of client premises to ensure security measures are in place.
• Investigate suspicious activity and take appropriate action in accordance with company procedures.
• Liaise with SAPS, emergency services, and other relevant authorities when required.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all responses.
• Ensure all firearms, vehicles, communication equipment, and other security equipment are maintained and operational.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and break-ins.
• Adhere to all company policies, security procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service to clients.
