Job summary

Wine.co.za is seeking an Area Manager for Avo’s in Letsitele/Tzaneen, Limpopo. You will work closely with avocado growers and internal teams to strengthen our grower network, secure quality supply and support the continued growth of our avocado business.

Based in South Africa's avocado heartland, you will develop strong grower relationships, understand regional crop dynamics, and link the grower base with commercial, packing and logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Formal tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in commercial avocado or subtropical fruit production is preferred.
• Experience working directly with commercial growers is highly advantageous.

Working closely with growers and colleagues across the wider business, the incumbent will play a key role in strengthening the company's grower network, securing quality supply and supporting the continued growth of their avocado business.Based in the heart of South Africa’s avocado industry, the Area Manager will develop strong relationships with growers, understand the regional crop, anticipate supply opportunities and risks, and connect the grower base with the company’s commercial, packing and logistics operations.
