The role requires a Diploma in Architectural Technology and 4+ years of experience, with AutoCAD and Revit proficiency. ArchiCAD is a plus; a collaborative firm supports development and growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or National Certificate in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Architectural Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential; ArchiCAD experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and methods.
• Knowledge of South African building codes and planning regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
• Assist in the development of design documentation from concept to construction stages.
• Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to integrate their services into the architectural drawings.
• Ensure all technical drawings comply with South African National Standards (SANS) and local building regulations.
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and monitor construction progress as required.
• Maintain project drawing registers and ensure efficient document control.
