Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Architectural Intern to join their Soweto practice on a part-time basis. You will support the architectural team with drawings, models and documentation while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative office in Gauteng.

Ideal for a student or early-career professional, the role offers mentorship from experienced architects, flexible hours to fit study commitments, and exposure to diverse Gauteng projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to commit to part-time hours while balancing other commitments.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn are key for this role in Soweto .

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, plans and models using CAD.
• Support the team with research on materials, building codes, and project-specific requirements.
• Help maintain project documentation and digital filing systems.
• Participate in office meetings and site visits as needed.
• Undertake other administrative and design support tasks as assigned by senior staff.
