Placements24 seeks a motivated Junior Architectural Assistant for an internship in Welkom, Free State. You will support the senior team with drawing production, site analysis, and documentation, gaining hands-on exposure to multiple project stages.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or recently completed an Architecture/Architectural Technology degree, with basic design knowledge and eagerness to learn under experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
• Basic understanding of architectural principles and design processes.
• Familiarity with architectural software like AutoCAD or Revit is advantageous.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards assigned tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and modification of architectural drawings and plans.
• Support the team with site visits and the collection of project-related data.
• Help in the organisation and management of project documentation and files.
• Conduct basic research on materials, building codes, and design precedents.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to design discussions.
