Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Designer in residential projects for our client’s practice in Tembisa. You will drive concept development, schematic design and detailed drawings, shaping homes to fit client needs and the local context.

You’ll work across all design stages, coordinating with engineers and contractors, contributing to construction documents, feasibility studies and presentations. A strong portfolio and 5+ years in residential design, plus ArchiCAD/SketchUp and rendering

Qualificações

• Professional qualification in Architecture or equivalent degree.
• Minimum of 5 years in architectural design with residential focus.
• Proficient in ArchiCAD, SketchUp and rendering tools.
• Strong understanding of residential construction and sustainability.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and technically proficient Architectural Designer specializing in residential projects to join their thriving practice in Tembisa . This role focuses on the conceptualization and development of innovative home designs that meet client needs and aesthetic goals. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from initial client consultations and schematic design to detailed drawing production and assisting with construction administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for creating beautiful and functional living spaces within the local context.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural concepts and schematic designs for new residential builds and renovations.
• Produce high-quality architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations for client approval.
• Ensure designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
