Placements24 partners with a prestigious architectural firm in Gauteng to recruit an Architectural Designer II. You will drive design development from concept through detailed drawings, collaborating with senior architects and consultants to achieve integrated solutions.

The role emphasizes visualisation, technical CAD/BIM skills, knowledge of South African building codes, and delivering high-quality documentation for diverse projects in Tembisa.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of professional experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with South African building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine architectural concepts with sketches, renderings, and models.
• Produce design development drawings, plans, sections, and details using CAD/BIM.
• Collaborate with senior architects and external consultants to integrate disciplines.
• Research materials and technologies to inform project strategies.
• Prepare presentations and proposals for client meetings and stakeholders.
• Assist in construction documentation and specifications.
