Job summary

RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established architectural firm in Durban, is seeking a talented and design-focused Architect to join their collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial projects and requires strong Revit skills, with an immediate start preferred.

The position is full-time and office-based, with the expectation to contribute to all phases from concept to construction documentation in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture required.
• 3–5 years' post-graduation architectural experience.
• Strong Revit proficiency.
• Experience on commercial projects (office, retail, industrial, medical).
• Office-based, full-time role without hybrid/remote work.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural designs and detailed documentation using Revit.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for design and strong Revit skills to contribute to a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce architectural designs and detailed documentation using Revit.
• Develop concepts through to construction documentation.
• Collaborate closely with architects, technicians, and project teams.
• Prepare presentations, 3D models, and visualisations.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of commercial architectural projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture
• Minimum 3-5 years' post-graduation architectural experience.
• Strong proficiency in Revit.
• Proven architectural design experience.
• Experience working on commercial projects, such as office, retail, industrial, and/or medical developments.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, open-plan office environment.
• Willing to work full-time from the office (no hybrid or remote work).
• Experience with Enscape rendering advantageous.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D modelling software, with AI rendering experience advantageous.
• Available to start as soon as possible.
