Job summary

Core is seeking an AR Credit Controller in Gauteng to manage customer credit, billing, cash allocations and collections. The role focuses on policy compliance, accurate account maintenance and timely invoicing to support cash flow and risk management.

The candidate will handle credit applications, CGIC processes, banking reconciliations and customer service with a strong eye for detail and deadlines. ERP proficiency (Syspro) and advanced Excel skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.
• Experience with CGIC and credit insurance processes is preferred.
• Extensive experience with Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Account maintenance and credit management: manage credit limits, review applications, process CGIC approvals, create customers in ERP, maintain master data, ensure compliance.
• Banking and cash allocations: receipt of payments, allocate to remittances, obtain confirmations, manage unallocated cash.
• Billing management: submit monthly billings, load billings in Syspro, liaise with customers on ad hoc billings.
• Cash collection: ensure timely collection, confirm statements, submit AR adjustments, prepare incentive packs.
• Credit committee preparation: prepare reconciliations and responses for outstanding balances.
• Customer service: resolve internal and external queries promptly and professionally.
