Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd invites graduates to join a 12-month Millwright graduate programme at our Salads & Pickles Plant, reporting to the Manager: Engineering & Projects. The role involves learning through exposure to pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of equipment.

Applicants should have an N2/N3 qualification; a driver’s license is advantageous. Be prepared to travel to sites for broader exposure within the business units.

What will you be doing?

We have an exciting learning opportunity for a Millwright already qualified, which will include exposure, understanding and application of the following:

• Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Fit, inspect test and repair MCC, circuits and wiring systems and electrical equipment.
• Install and commission machinery and equipment.
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation.
• Responsible for Health and Safety in area of responsibility.
• Keep Maintenance and Technical Manager up to date with day-to-day occurrences etc.
• Ensure GMP’s are adhered to.

• Be a go-getter that wants to learn, find solutions for challenges & use initiative.

Requirements:

• N2 or N3 qualification

Programme information:

• This is a 12-month graduate programme based at our Salads & Pickles Plant reporting to the Manager: Engineering & Projects
• Will at times support the Engineering structure in rolling out of specific projects / tasks.
• May be required to travel to sites for exposure to all business units
