About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a diligent Apprentice Electrician specializing in maintenance for their facilities in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This apprenticeship provides hands-on training in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems within industrial and commercial environments. You will work under the supervision of experienced maintenance electricians, learning vital skills to ensure the ongoing operational integrity of our client's infrastructure. This role is key to supporting the essential services in the diamond city of Kimberley and the wider Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
• Learn to diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions.
• Install and wire new electrical components and systems as per specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and electrical codes.

Requirements
