Placements24 is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. The role focuses on embedding security into the SDLC, working with developers to remediate vulnerabilities and promote secure coding practices.

You will conduct security testing and guide secure design across projects. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in application security, a Bachelor's in CS/SE, and hands-on experience with SAST/DAST tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application security or secure software development.
• Strong understanding of web application vulnerabilities and secure coding principles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) is highly beneficial.
