Responsibilities

• Select the company’s pallet of products and provide technical support to sales staff.
• Cost quotations for sales staff and branch administrators.

• Drive sales growth for managed products as Product Manager for assigned lines.

POSITION: Applications Engineer
LOCATION: Modderfontein, Gauteng

DUTIES:

The Application Engineer will be responsible for the correct selection of the company’s pallet of products and technical support to sales staff and assist with designs for Design office.

Responsible for costing for quotation purposes for sales staff and branch administrators.

• Advise and prepare quote for sales staff for the company’s pallet of products

Conduct site visits

• Gather relevant information and assist sales rep staff with technical knowledge when visiting clients

Manage products, namely special seals, sealing support systems and other selected sealing products

• Do site visits and give recommendations on technical solutions

Training

• Training of sales staff and customers on technical solutions

Sales growth of managed products

• Manage and assist with sales growth of products for which you are Product Manager

Qualifications, Experience & Other Qualities:

• B-Technical/Engineering qualification
