Job summary

impact.com is seeking a Mid-Level Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain our Android application. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to create a high-quality, user-friendly app that meets customer needs.

You will collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs, optimize performance, and stay current with Android development trends while delivering clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and libraries.
• Good understanding of responsive UI/UX principles.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tech lead, product manager and designer to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain the Android app with best practices and great UX.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code following standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
• Debug and resolve issues reported by QA and users.
• Stay updated with Android trends and incorporate new tools.
• Optimize performance across devices and versions.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs.
