Job summary

Hire Resolve is seeking an Android Developer to help enhance mobile applications for a leading IT services and consulting client in Gauteng. You will join a dynamic team, translate designs into robust code, and deliver high‑quality features on time.

You should be proficient in Kotlin, MVVM/MVC/MVP patterns, REST and JSON, and familiar with Jetpack Compose. The role offers a collaborative environment, opportunities to work with backend teams, and a focus on scalable, maintainable architecture.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Kotlin and Android UI design principles.
• Experience with MVVM/MVC/MVP architectures and Android Architecture components.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON and Git versioning.
• Experience with SQLite and building reusable components.
• Knowledge of dependency injection libraries such as Dagger/Hilt.
• Bonus: Jetpack Compose experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to build applications per design specifications.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code.
• Coordinate with backend developers to ensure proper logic on mobile.
• Attend daily stand-ups and contribute to progress.
