Red Ember Recruitment (on behalf of our client) invites applications for an Accountant in Tygervalley, Cape Town. This role suits a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of full accounting functions in a deadline-driven environment.

You will manage AP/AR, process EFTs, reconcile bank statements and cashbooks, allocate accounts, verify invoices, and post journals up to trial balance, leveraging advanced Excel and ERP systems to ensure

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting.
• At least 3 years' relevant working experience, preferably in financial services.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Advantageous: Short-term insurance industry experience.
• Experience with Tial, Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics 365 Finance.

Mansioni

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process electronic funds transfers (EFTs).
• Reconcile bank statements and cashbooks.
• Ensure accurate account, cost centre and company allocations.
