Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Aircraft Structures Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft structural components. You will work with composites and metals, using specialized tools to ensure structural soundness and airworthiness.

Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and fabricating components per manuals; performing NDT; interpreting blueprints; and documenting maintenance with high attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or significant experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician.
• Experience in aircraft structural repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in working with metal and composite structures.
• Knowledge of aviation structural repair manuals and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and fabricate aircraft structural components according to technical specifications and manuals.
• Perform NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) on structural elements as required.
• Work with various materials such as aluminum, steel, titanium, and composites.
• Utilise precision measuring instruments and hand/power tools for repairs.
• Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company procedures.
