Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Performance Analyst to optimize flight efficiency and fuel conservation from Bloemfontein, Free State. You will collect and analyze flight data to provide actionable insights that improve fleet performance and profitability.

working closely with flight operations and engineering, you will develop reporting systems, validate performance models, and stay current with performance software and techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in aircraft performance analysis.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (Excel, Python, MATLAB).
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and flight mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze aircraft performance data including fuel burn and engine performance.
• Identify trends, anomalies and areas for improvement from operational data.
• Develop and maintain performance databases and reporting systems.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on performance metrics for management.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing flight planning and en-route profiles.
• Collaborate with flight crews and maintenance to investigate deviations.
