Placements24 in Kimberley is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Planner to join our operations team. You will coordinate schedules, resources and ensure compliance with CAA regulations to maximize aircraft availability and safety.

This role requires 3+ years in aircraft maintenance planning, familiarity with AMOS or SAP, and strong organizational skills.

You will liaise across engineering, quality and operations, preparing work packages and tracking progress to address delays and deviations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning or a related role.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and airworthiness requirements.
• Experience using maintenance planning software or ERP systems (AMOS, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the short-term and long-term maintenance schedules for the fleet, optimizing aircraft availability.
• Coordinate the allocation of maintenance resources, including personnel, hangar space, tooling, and spare parts.
• Prepare detailed work packages for maintenance tasks, ensuring all necessary documentation, technical data, and procedures are readily available.
• Monitor ongoing maintenance activities, track progress against schedules, and address any deviations or delays proactively.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are planned and executed in compliance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with engineering, quality assurance, and operations departments to facilitate smooth maintenance execution.
