Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Aircraft Interior Design Specialist to join the Port Elizabeth team. You will conceptualize and develop innovative cabin interiors for commercial and private aircraft, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and passenger comfort.

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and clients to translate designs into compliant drawings. Proficiency in CATIA, SolidWorks or AutoCAD is required, along with knowledge of aerospace materials and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field with a focus on aerospace.
• Proven experience as an Aircraft Interior Designer or similar role within the aviation industry.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and rendering tools.
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent aesthetic sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions in a hybrid setting.
