Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Component Inspector for a Kimberley MRO facility. You will ensure repaired and overhauled components meet airworthiness and regulatory standards before return to service, inspecting work, verifying documentation, and upholding the quality system.

You will conduct visual, dimensional and NDT inspections, verify conformance to technical data, review release certificates, and maintain inspection records in line with SACAA and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognized inspection certification such as FAA or EASA Part 66.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft component inspection or maintenance.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and NDT techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on a wide range of aircraft components.
• Verify that all maintenance and repair work performed on components conforms to approved technical data and specifications.
• Review and approve maintenance documentation, including work cards, test reports, and release certificates.
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, regulatory requirements (e.g., SACAA), and customer specifications.
• Identify and document any discrepancies or non-conformances, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and traceability for all components processed.
