Job summary

First Technology Pty Ltd is seeking an AI Business Analyst to bridge business strategy and practical AI outcomes in a dynamic environment. You will identify AI use cases, translate needs into clear requirements, quantify expected benefits, and ensure adoption with governance and measurement.

You will work with solution engineers to design data, prompts, workflows and platform integration, while tracking benefits against the business case and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or national diploma in Information Systems, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar.
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and documenting processes for technology solutions.
• Practical, hands-on experience using generative AI tools in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document and prioritise AI use cases based on value, feasibility, risk and effort.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define KPIs and baseline measures before delivery to measure value realized later.
• Act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout delivery.
• Develop adoption and change plans, training content and user guidance with enablement teams.
