Placements24 is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer in Soweto, Gauteng to design, develop and deploy AI models on edge devices. You will optimize AI algorithms for resource-constrained environments and collaborate with hardware teams to integrate AI into embedded systems.

This hands-on role requires strong C/C++ and Python, plus experience with TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, or ONNX Runtime. A passion for edge AI and real-time decision-making is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of AI/ML development experience, focused on edge computing or embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, or ONNX Runtime.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; able to work independently and in a team.
