Placements24 is seeking an AI Solutions Architect specializing in computer vision to design and implement advanced AI systems for a diverse client base in South Africa. Based in Tembisa, Gauteng, you will bridge complex AI concepts with practical business outcomes, ensuring scalable, efficient, and compliant architectures.

You will lead cross-functional teams, evaluate technologies, and drive proof-of-concepts while staying ahead of industry trends in AI and cloud computing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as AI/ML Engineer or Solutions Architect with CV focus.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models on cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform).
• Proficiency in Python and ML lifecycles, MLOps, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI solutions with a focus on computer vision (image recog, object detection, video analysis).
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to define requirements and architectures.
• Evaluate AI technologies, frameworks, and cloud services for solutions.

Requirements
