Placements24 is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to join our Pretoria team. You will design end-to-end AI/ML solutions on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, translating business needs into scalable technical strategies.

You will guide development teams, create architectural blueprints, and evaluate AI services for cost, security, and performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders, maintain governance and ethics considerations, and stay ahead of cloud trends.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of solution architecture experience, 3+ years in AI/ML projects.
• Proven design and deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and define AI strategies.
• Develop architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation for AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI/ML services, tools, and technologies for specific use cases.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
• Advise on data governance, privacy, and ethical considerations related to AI implementation.
• Stay current with emerging AI trends, cloud technologies, and best practices in solution architecture.
• Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for internal teams and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML solutions.
• Proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML models on major cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform).
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and data science principles.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data engineering and big data technologies.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into effective technical solutions.
