Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency, is seeking an AI Search Optimization Specialist to own search strategy for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will steer the technical roadmap, content priorities, and define the ranking story for clients upon query.

You’ll be the strategic voice at the table and make decisive calls. You will oversee technical SEO, keyword strategy, content alignment with writers and AI, and ensure visibility across AI and classic organic search.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO, with audits and fixes performed personally.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients simultaneously.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers/AI.
• Improve AI search visibility: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Paraplexity alongside organic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed by clients.
• Produce GA4 and Search Console reports and quarterly client roadmaps.
