Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to lead the strategy and roadmap for cutting-edge AI and data science platforms in Stellenbosch. You will bridge technical teams and business needs, guiding product development from concept to launch with a hybrid work setup.

The role requires 5+ years in product management, strong AI/ML knowledge, and excellent cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work blends office collaboration with remote flexibility in the Stellenbosch hub.

Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience with AI, ML, or data science platforms.
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and lifecycle.
Experience defining strategy, roadmaps, and launches of tech products.
Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI and data science platforms.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews.
Translate strategy into requirements, user stories, and specifications.
Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales throughout development.
Prioritize backlog and manage sprints for timely delivery of features.
Launch new products and features with marketing and sales to drive adoption.
Monitor performance, gather feedback, iterate based on data and insights.
Act as voice of the customer and evangelize the product internally and externally.
Stay abreast of AI, ML, and data science platform trends.
