Placements24 is seeking an innovative AI Product Manager to lead the development and roadmap for AI-driven products in the AI & Emerging Technologies domain. Based in Mahikeng, North West with a flexible hybrid work arrangement, you will collaborate with engineering, data science, marketing, and sales to define vision and guide end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch.

The ideal candidate has deep AI/ML knowledge, strong market acumen, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in product management, with a focus on AI or technology products.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical applications.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience working in a hybrid or remote team environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered products.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify new product opportunities.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and product specifications.
• Prioritize the product backlog and manage the development process in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Launch new products and features, coordinating go-to-market strategies with marketing and sales.
• Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on product improvements.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of AI trends, technologies, and their potential applications.
