Placements24 is seeking an experienced AI Operations (AIOps) Engineer to enhance monitoring, automation, and performance management of IT infrastructure and applications. This hybrid role combines work from home with the Paarl office to enable proactive problem-solving and intelligent automation across services.

You will develop ML models for anomaly detection, automate operational tasks, and collaborate across teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Experience with AIOps tools and platforms (Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk ITSI).
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in IT operations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced AI Operations (AIOps) Engineer to enhance the monitoring, automation, and performance management of their IT infrastructure and applications. This hybrid role involves working from both home and our Paarl office. You will leverage AI and machine learning techniques to proactively identify, predict, and resolve operational issues, thereby improving system reliability and efficiency.
