Placements24 invites an AI Ethicist & Governance Specialist to join its Vereeniging AI division. You will develop ethics guidelines, assess risks, and train teams on responsible AI practices to ensure fair, transparent, and accountable AI deployments.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Ethics, Law, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
Demonstrated understanding of AI technologies and their societal implications.
Experience in policy development, risk management, or ethical analysis, preferably within technology.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for AI development and deployment.
Conduct ethical risk assessments for new AI projects and systems, identifying potential biases and unintended consequences.
Provide expert advice and training to technical and business teams on AI ethics and responsible innovation.
Monitor evolving AI regulations and best practices, ensuring organizational compliance.
Facilitate discussions and workshops on AI ethics to foster a culture of responsible technology development.
