Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Ethics, CS, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal or ethics roles, with a focus on technology or AI.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts, ML principles, and ethical risks.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA) and AI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain AI ethics and compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits and assessments of AI systems for ethical and regulatory adherence.
• Provide guidance and training on AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible development.
• Monitor AI landscape for regulatory changes and best practices.
• Investigate and address ethical concerns or compliance issues related to AI.
• Collaborate with legal, risk management, and tech teams to embed responsible AI principles.
