Placements24 seeks an AI Engineer specializing in Deep Learning to design, develop, and optimize state‑of‑the‑art models in Pretoria, Gauteng. You will implement models with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras, and build robust data pipelines for training and inference.

You will collaborate with data scientists, translate research into scalable engineering solutions, and contribute to AI infrastructure while keeping up with cutting‑edge advances in AI technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying deep learning models.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and best practices.
• Experience with data processing and manipulation libraries (NumPy, pandas).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ML services is a plus.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (Git) and testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
