Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking an AI-enabled Research Support Specialist to empower clients with Lexis+ AI capabilities. You will conduct high-quality legal, financial, and news research using LexisNexis platforms and AI-assisted tools, delivering timely insights.

You'll engage customers via phone, chat, and email, demonstrating AI drafting features for case summaries, memos, and analytical reports, and collaborate to co-create AI-enhanced outputs while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience in legal, financial, or news research or customer support.
• Experience using Lexis Advance, Lexis+, or Lexis+ AI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; translate AI concepts for non-technical users.
• Strong multitasking and analytical abilities; manage multiple inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality legal, financial, and news research using LexisNexis platforms, traditional sources, and AI-assisted tools.
• Use generative AI to synthesize, summarize, and analyze complex data sets, delivering timely, accurate insights.
• Engage directly with customers through phone, chat, and email to resolve inquiries and demonstrate AI tools in real time.
• Showcase how AI drafting features can accelerate workflows—generating case summaries, client memos, and analytical reports.
• Partner with clients to co-create AI-enhanced outputs, building confidence in responsible AI adoption.
• Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently using department tools, research expertise, and sound professional judgment.
• Maintain the highest standards of data integrity, accuracy, and transparency when using AI tools.
